I love finding ways to interest my children in family history. My 4th grader was given the assignment to do a school report on Louise of Savoy and dress up like her on Friday. I told her that I bet we're related somehow. It took me a couple of hours, but I managed to find the connection. My daughter will enjoy her assignment even more now that she knows that Louise of Savoy is her 7th cousin 17 times removed!
