We can only function as effective Consultants if we know how to effectively do that research ourselves. We've created this blog as a platform to provide our Consultants (and others who are interested) with the most current resources, news and techniques that will assist us in being successful researchers.

I encourage you to bookmark this blog or put a link to it on your desktop and use it regularly. I'll be posting lots of good things that I find since I subscribe to genealogy/family history newsletters, blogs, facebook pages, professional genealogists on facebook and attend conferences.
You're also invited to share your interesting research stories. We all have them...and often have nobody to share them with (unless we're lucky enough to have family members who actually want to hear them). Email them to me at the address I put in the second paragraph.
